About the founder

Since I was a child, I’ve struggled with believing in myself and my abilities. I gave up on art, theater, film, radio, and improv comedy.

In each and every area that interested me, I told myself that I wasn’t good enough.

This mindset left me hollow in my career pursuits. I molded a career path based on what I thought I could do rather than what it is I wanted to do.

While I enjoyed an abundant career in Operations and then in Brand Marketing at the Walt Disney Company and in Marketing and UX Storytelling at Triodos Bank, I felt like my accomplishments didn’t belong to me. They were someone else’s.

After going through a personal transformation, I embarked on my journey towards reclaiming my career path.

The question was: How could I take my interest in the arts and creativity and apply it to my abilities in the corporate world?

I started with coaching professionals in mindset (something I was all too aware of) using creative tools such as journaling and art and improv. I did some consulting work involving storytelling, and soon worked in Learning and Development, designing and facilitating trainings to help examine mindsets. Most recently, I began professional storytelling.

This exploration of my entrepreneurialism and creativity led naming my business: The Entrepreneurial Creative.

I hope to grow The Entrepreneurial Creative as an umbrella company to house creative projects from other artists and entrepreneurs.
